Like the soloist/duos, trios offer one more to the small acts; the important difference in this category is Trios can have music specially written for them, whether it be classical to modern day, the more people in the act the variety is available.

Trios are very popular in jazz, classical, comedy. Again trios are still flexible in the positioning at a venue but are much more able to give a lager range of music.
